The Railway Inn is owned and run by the Wilson family. We offer a friendly informal service for business and private or tourist clientele providing real ales, good food and accommodation.
The Inn is spacious and superbly decorated throughout. There is a beautiful rear garden where children are most welcome. The Inn affords ample parking space to front and rear.
The Freehouse is ideally placed close to Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford and Oxford with the advantage of the adjacent railway station on the Oxford - Paddington line.
The Railway Inn
The Inn has three bar areas, a games room, 60 seater restaurant and six very comfortable rooms. It also has a Marquee idea for weddings and private functions it can seat up to 150 guests.
We also have a cottage annex with 4 further bedrooms with en suites. Tourists can use the inn as a base to tour the Cotswolds and sights & scences of the historic university town of Oxford
We are able to offer Wedding parties in our Marquee for up to 150 guests seated. Also our restaurant/lounge bar area is available for weddings and private functions which is able to seat 60 for dinners and has a capacity for 120 guests for buffets/dances.
We will cater to meet individual budgets as required. We have regular jazz evenings with famous jazz performers from far and wide.
